The United States Marine Corps 222 Years of romping, stomping, hell, death and destruction. The finest machine the world has ever known. I was born in a bomb crater, my mother was an M16. My fater the devil. each moment that I live is an additional threat upon your life. I'm a roughish-lookin roving soldier of the sea. I am cocky, self-centered, overbearing and I do not know the meaning of fear, for I am fear itself. I am a green amphibious monster made of blood and guts who arose from the sea and who's sole purpose in life is to perpetuate death and destruction upon the festering Anti-Americans throughout the world, wherever they may arise, and when my time comes I'll die a glorious death on the battlefield giving my life for mom, apple pie and the American flag. We stole the Eagle from teh Air Force, the Anchor from the Navy and the rope from the Army. And, on the seventh day God rested we overran his perimeter adn stole the globe and we've been running the show ever since. We live like soldiers, talk like sailors and slap the hell out of both of them at the same time. Marines by day, lovers by night, drunks by choice, United States Marines by act of GOD... GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

Semper Fi, my brothers! I too am a Marine, and always will be. I served 6 years active duty from 1970-1976. I was with 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines, H&S Co., 3rd Mar. Div., Headquarters Battalion, Service Company, 1st Mar. Div., Marine Barracks, Pearl Harbor, HI., and 1st Battalion, 9th Marines, 3rd Mar Div.
Anyway, I was happy to see the thread, and couldn't restrain from sounding off!

welcome to the site richarfg... hope to see you stick around and get to know the folks here. Most are good people. Those that aren't, get weeded out pretty quickly. ;)
BTW: Thanks Patrick... I gladly do my service for this fine country...
