selling a little truck i got.

1990 Isuzu 2wd truck
208,000 miles
2.3l 4cyl carb engine
5spd manual
manual steering
good A/C
good tires
straight body with faded paint
straight steel wheels
minor oil leak (occasionally leaves a few drops)
runs good
Kenwood CD/MP3 with front panel USB
4" coax in dash, 8" Optimus truck boxes behind seat
plastic bed liner
Asking $900 as is.....

It needs a new muffler and tailpipe. thats all.
I did some trading for the truck last summer. I got a new battery, headlights, plugs, wires, O2 sensor, air filter, oil change and patched a leak on the tranny. it has fresh gear oil in it. Its a good little runabout and hauls small stuff. i got it for my oldest son to drive.. and give to him if he'd stay home and graduate.... he didn't hold up his end of the bargain, so its going. we have too many vehicles as it is. we MAY have put 2,500 miles on it in the last 6 months.

even with the muffler being bad, it doesnt sound like an old log truck... but it's loud. it rides smooth and straight... and even with the bad muffler it isn't too intrusive as to make it annoying to drive. engine does NOT smoke... not death noises. as a matter of fact the thing sounds solid and runs fine.

Why, why, why does what I want always show up for sale just after I have bought or traded for something else.....and why do they always have to be so far away??? That is my kind of truck (minus the sound equipment, of course!)

the butterflies are the remains of a headboard Lori made for out daughter many years ago... it stayed there after we had moved some things.:D

the stereo is nothing more than a basic radio... no amp. the Optimus speakers are cheap. i essentially got em for free. got the radio at a pawn shop in front of Moody AFB. gotta love them Airmen. :D

Just what color does "white" fade to? Looks fine in the pics to me!

Had the same thought about the love lube bottle "Yep, we're done with the truck now" :D

Luck with the sale, it is in a price point that folks can actually afford these days!

maybe i shoulda said "flat white". :D the gloss is gone. we used some refinishing wax on it... a carnuba cleaning wax. it helped out alot. the truck was parked under some trees and got that green mossy crap growing on it. i repainted the bumpers, wheels, cowling and windshield wiper arms. you'd not know it was looking so rough last summer.

i haven't listed it yet with craiglist... but i might today or tomorrow. even so, i've had a couple of people asking about it.
