View Full Version : OK, I'm PISSED!!!
Comming off the freeway on my way to work. Some jackass about 25 yards in front of me came across several lanes of highway to drive over the median and get off the freeway in front of me. He cut off 2 other cars that had to slam their brakes to avoid collission.
Dumbphuck then ends up in my lane directly in front of me going South while the other vehicles he cut off were going N. Dood decides to be a **** and not move forward when there was PLENTY of space between him and the car in front of him. So, I happily go around him thinking nothing of it. I make my right turn at the light and dood comes up to my left. Jumps out of his car and starts flinging beer cans at my truck. One dented my drivers door above the window. The 2nd hit me in my arm and spattered beer all over my truck.
Got on the cell and called the cops, gave them his description and the license plate of the car. As I was doing this, I was following said Jackass to an empty lot behind a car dealership. As soon as he saw me on the phone, he made a U turn and took off real quick. I sat and waited for the po po to arrive.
When the cop does arrive, he looks over my truck complementing me on how nice of a truck it is. I'm like... thanks. but, I'd be nicer without all the freaking beer everywhere and that nice huge dent on my door. Said there's nothing he can do except write the report and go talk to dood IF he went home. Said, if DOOD admits to what he did, we'll both be summoned to court. Otherwise, it's just my word against his.
Doods lucky it's illegal to shoot ****tards in the states.
Cop did "accidentally" give me some additional information he probably shouldn't have. ;)

do some checking... i'm pretty sure that there should be a "road rage" law of some title in your state... or at least a local ordinance. you did good to get the tag, though. seems they are all "billy bad-ass" will they find out the cops are coming. then they are a bunch of sissies.
a guy got arrested last week. he took a couple swings at one of my officers. MY officer. he got 3.17 oz. of liquid hell before i got there.. and unfortunately, he became cooperative... so i couldn't Tase him. :( the pepper spray turned him into snivilling little craybaby. i feel soooo sorry for the guy. I am a pretty mellow guy. Afterall, being 6'3" 230lbs and having the training I've had, it's not a fair advantage for most others if I get into motion. SO, I spend most of my time in CHILL "It's ALL good", "I'm easy like sunday morning" mode...
Dood did rub me wrong though. He dented my truck. That's NEVER a good thing...

It never fails to amaze me how an arse like this does something like that, then has the nads to get all torqued off at the person that was doing absolutly nothing wrong!

If he did, he did it after I left. I'll find out when I get the police report.

I think this would be more fun to use on a person than pepperspray.

Depends on state laws

Kennedy is right, it depends on state law. But generally speaking, if you feel threatened you have a right to defend yourself. A little pepper spray is a lot less destructive than hitting a person.

You clearly have more cool in your head than me. But then the half Italian side gets me stirred up easy every time. The accidental info you got will come in handy 6 months down the road when those idiots have forgotten about you. Tell me they don,t deserve they're ride dropped!

Just make sure you know which way the wind in blowing before you spray.

Unfortunately, I have a job to think about. That job requires a much higher level of trust from me to the government. If I lose that trust, I lose my job. If I lose my job, I lose my kids.
If it weren't for my kids, I could say screw the job. But, my kids are my life. And, the $$$ I make doing my job would be difficult without this "trust" I have. If you know what I mean?

I had a problem like this one time because I simpley honked at a guy not paying attion when the light turned green. He got pissed and started threw a half full beer at me. Luckily, this drunk was a bad shot. I went around him but he cuaght up with me at the next light and his buddy was yelling out the the passanger widow at me trying to start a fight. So I did the Ace Venturn trick with the cigarette lighter in the dash (well my brother did) and tossed a white hot cigarette lighter into the front seat of his air bagged chevy. All this happened about 11:30 on a friday night while out cruising in my old mans pick up. We left them at light and never looked back

Yeah, Indiana has the castle law now... you have the right to defend your "castle", whether it be your vehicle, home, etc, if you feel you are being threatened by someone trying to enter it.
