pulling check engine codes 99TJ

the damn key on-off-on-off-on trick isnt working for me. the jeep was manufactured 1/99 if it matters.. the light just came on today and i want to see what the problem is. i dont have time to stop at autozone or advance..

any other 'tricks'? i sure wish it was as easy as the chevy's .. a little jumper wire and then turn the key on..viola.

You are OBDII the key thing will not work have to go to a shop amd go on a computor..........

Turn the key forward two clicks then back 3 times quickly enough, and it works. The code shows up where the milage is displayed. If you do it too slowly it will not work.
