I know this project will be a pain in the butt but is it doable for your average home garage guy? I'm trying not to spend money at the dealership to do this.

I am uncertain as to what you refering to? Are you replacing the door panels, or just parts like the pull straps or window cranks that may have busted from use.

Sure, tear it apart and re-assemble it on your own. If you can't then have someone else fix your mistakes

Just remember this, if it doesn't come loose easily, you have missed something. Do not force anything to free. The panel is easy enough to remove, I would suggest getting a body panel tool, forked piece of metal to pry out plastic trim tabs, aka chrismas trees.
A good pair of pliers and some good screwdrivers will be benificial. Never ripped the inner skins outta my heep but my trucks was fairly straight forward.

Yea I have the old panels off and just looking around there isn't much room. I bought them up in Allentown, got them repainted at the college I go to and they got me stuck in the Jeep. I was climbing out the back window LOL. I was livid when they screwed them all up. Thanks for the advice though guys I'll keep it in mind.
