99tj small evap leak.. is there a common cause?

got the code pulled for my check engine light. i have a small evap leak.. so i have been cheking with the stethoscope tube to listen for air leaks around the vacuum lines.. cant find any leaks..

is there a common place that goes? i know they are rubber hoses and can get brittle, but damn i feel like its a needle in a haystack..

X2 on the gas cap. It is a VERY common problem

well, if it is the gas cap, it just happened out of nowhere as i hadnt filled up in over a week, so i know it wasnt like i didnt turn it tight enough.. i guess i will get the code reset and see what happens.. then maybe its time for a new gas cap.

You could also check the lines going to the gas tanl and evaporative canister...
