Looks like it is a high pinion..... (I am a guessing novice ;))

$200 with discs and calipers, I would say....
Ford 8.8 rear end axle 4.10 gears mini-spool - $200.....
MAKE ME A REASONABLE OFFER!!!!
 I wonder if it is $200/OBO.

No, its low pinion. I do not believe there was ever a 8.8 hi-pinion.

hey bro i saw that too. they sold it like friday night
Sorry CM, i just sold this tonight. I forgot to check my e-mail and my phone was not forwarding e-mails properly.
Thanks for the interest.
I'll answer your querstions anyway
Mileage of the explorer it came off of? unknown (got it from a junkyard)
Axle id #? unknown (sold it)
is this a LSD or an open diff? I had a mini-spool in it
how are the breaks on the axle itself? rotors were in good shape, pads were shot
are all the original oem mount brackets still in tack? yes they were
Try finding a junk yard in calumet city. They had the lowest prices, but terrible service since their english is not so great. That is where i got the axle from originally.

Aric
