I'm planning on a trip in mid August to "the cliffs" in Illinois. A buddy of mine has a mostly stock 92 full size blazer and was out there last summer and had no problems, and from his video from the trip, there doesn't look to be anything I can't handle as a basically a rookie off roader. My biggest concern is my D35. You can see in my signature what my set up is, and if anyone is wondering what the terrain is like, google: the cliffs, Illinois and you can browse the website which is all there "veteran only" stuff, but you'll get the idea. Thanks in advance y'all.

I think you will be fine. When you push any axle to it's limits it will break. Just don't over wheel it. I have wheeled the heck out of my 35 and it is holding up. But I don't really don't do any rocks, none around. Just gotta know the limits of "your stuff".

You'll be fine. The terrain is really soft there so it's easy on drivetrain parts, just make sure you're ready for water. Stick to trails toward the outside of the park and you'll be fine.
