violent shaking

Hi i am new to jeep and just bought a 02 wrangler x. When im driving down the highway and about 55 60 sometimes it will just start shaking really hard. i have no idea what this could be.

usually in coils but I have leafs and this exact thing would happen to me.
New steering stabilizer helped alittle, rebalance tire, (not much help) but finally when I needed new tires. presto all gone!!! the above items do however need to be done to rid yourself of this death wobble.
but don't underestmate the actual tires.

Typically "Death Wobble" is caused by something "not right" mechanically.
Loose bolts, broken mounts, bad rod ends.
A tire out of round or unevenly worn can cause issues.

Another important thing to check is the alignment.
With my YJ I was getting some vibration around 60 MPH after a weekend run on the rocks. Got the alignment checked (toe) and it's smooooth now.

ok. thanks guys. i am putting on my 33's maybe next week so i thought that may help in case it was a bad tire or if it was a balancing issue. i also thought it may be because i have the stock springs that are compressed by the spacer that i put on it from the skyjacker 2" budget lift may have to much stress on them could that have anything to do with it?

Is you track bar parallel to the drag link?

Track bar runs from the drivers frame rail to the Pass. side axle tube
Drag link runs from the pitman arm to the steering nuckle

i just put my new tires on and i believe that did the trick i went on a little road trip and it hasnt done it yet i guess it was some bad tires or something. anyway i really appriciate the help
