Ok. I got some mirror movers for my YJ. It should be an easy install. I went to remove the windshield bolts to install the movers and they just spin without backing out. Any suggestions? I can't seem to figure out where the nuts are to secure them....or even if there are nuts?!?!

There aren't any nuts, the bolts screw into the windshield frame.

there may be little threaded inserts on the inside of the windshield frame that the screws go into. When i was installing my windshield aux light brackets, and that was the case in my YJ, but mine got completely disconnected on the inside of the frame, and it took like 3 hours to get it back up to the hole, and re-aligned to be able to put the screw back in.

The bolts I am trying to take out are on the lower half of the hinge. They bolt into the body....or appear to?

The Bolts in the body have nuts on the backside, you might be able to get to them with out having to tear too much apart!

...clamp on a good pair of Vice-Grips, pull out hard as you unscrew it, what you are really doing is attempting to "jam" the nut or cause enough friction on the square nut inside...for re-installation...er...good luck...

On my 93YJ I had to reach up under the dash with a box wrench to reinstall the bolts put the nut in the wrench and put some tape on the back side to hold the nut, hold the wrench on the back side of the hole when the nut lines up start the bolt. Worked for me!!

..use a plastic wire tire around the nut to push it up in a tight location..make sure you have enough "tail" on it....
