My beast has a lot-o-rust, when attempting to take off the roll bar the bolts are rusted permanant, if I can't get them with a torch, I am using a cut-off wheel, if I can't get to it with a wheel, using a long blade on a reciprical saw, places I am having to cut the sheet metal out...what started out as a quick sand and paint job has turned into a full blown rip out, cut off, and hack out everything. I plan on cutting out the bad and cleaning the area up, plate over it with either 14 ga sheet, 1/8 & 3/16 plate, and right angle corner I am using 1/8 x 2 x 2 angle iron, then butt welding with what ever is appropiate for that area....pulling the stock bumpers off, fabbing brackets for "Crosbys"..shackles, D-rings ( depending what part of the contry you are from) then slotting the bumpers to put then back in place. Will fab some sort of tubing bumper extentions, loops..or what ever might look good at that point.....long story short (too late)..any one have any suggestions since I am in "tear-out" stage?..thanks Guys
