f/s--> 4spd auto 4x4 trans - S.Ga/N.Fl

I know i'm really stretching here... but....


Suzuki Sidekick / Geo(Chevy) Tracker 4spd automatic transmission for a 4x4. Got it to do a conversion on the silver '90 track i had... i have an unintelligent kid that sold the tracker without talking to me first. now stuck with the transmission.

4spd auto
computer
wiring harness
torque converter

all that is missing for the conversion is the 4spd shifter (only dif is the momentary OD switch) and the power mode switch. Otherwise, it is all there. i sourced all parts through a reputable salvage parts place in Va....

$250 is asking price.
Not that there is much demand for this kinda stuff in here.

there were two.
a green 98 that i rebuilt. he blew the engine up two days before he was due back at camp lejeune... and yes. he also ran into the back of a truck with it. damage was minimal and was straightened out.

i felt "sorry" for him... was thinking the engine failure may have been an issue i overlooked. found out later... that it was due to him doggin the hell out of it with hardly 1500 miles on it. anyway. i felt "sorry" for him.... so i "gave" him my silver one. another mistake. told him to take it up there are park it. he proceeded to make 3 trips home in it. again.... he is a total idiot. he was hammering the silver one at the river new years weekend. got the ignition wet... so it quit running. good thing i guess.

anyway.
i parked it here. took the insurance off of it since it was still my insurance. his lazy ass never went to get insurance on his own in over a month. It sat here in its trashed state until two weeks ago. he came over with a trailer and hauled it away. i find out fathers day that he sold it. why? he said the transmission quit working. perfect. i had the replacement on the floor in my shop. he knew it, too. sorry ass. :mad:

lol.... last thing i need. got a baby coming. i am whittling down my distractions. once i get the green '98 rebuilt (again) i'm pretty sure i'm going to sell it or trade it in part for a boat. the only thing left as a project will by the everlastingmgbthatnevergetsdone.

I actually hate to get rid of it. It's been a good friend for 211,000 miles and still runs and looks good but since we bought the SX4 I only drive the Sidekick to work 2 days a week to keep some miles off of the TJ. I don't know if it's worth keeping for so little use.
