brad and i stopped on the way home from boyscout camp at a gas station and seen this!!! awesome!!! normally i would see something like this, but not have my digital camera with me. i did that day so now i can share!!!

yeh it was super clean, i wanted to talk to the owner even look under the hood or underneath. problem was, if you look in the background of the pic with brad you can see my truck towing the troop trailer, i really didnt have time to doddle!!! plus when i came out it was gone!!!

The guy wasnt there. Ill stop later see if I can take it for a drive. The floors our solid, the body is soild. Fenders underneath are all clean. The frame looked good. The passenger side rockers you can see putty work they didnt do a very good job. The paint job is ok some ruins here and there. The inside looks nice.

The tires look like new and the oil and antifrezze were both clean.

Im going over at 830 to take it for a drive. I sent you my cell.

We took it for a spin. It runs good, shifts smoth. No smoke it started right up. Hes about 20 years old and selling it because hes in school. There extra doors, lift gate stock wheels and tires. It got right up to speed no problems. The steering was kinda funny but seemed normal for a older jeep. No knocks or funny sounds. Drove it for about 20 mins. He said you can call him anytime with anything you want to know. The way he was talking he ll take 3000 for it. Maybe less.

Curious. How did the paint look? I see it used to be green. Did it look like a half decent job with a shine, or wil it need re-sprayed?

The paint didnt look to bad. There were some ruins in it. Standing 10 feet away it looks nice. You get up to it and you can see ruins here and there. I asked him when it was painted he said almost 10 years ago. One more thing I forgot The front seat is tore had duct tape on it. The back seat was perfect.

Looks like we will have to put the search on hold. Sunday we are heading up near Cleveland to look for an Unlimited to replace Jason's. I did find a Scout in Akron for $8,000.
