I lowered my truck this weekend. 2 inches in the front and 4 inches in the back. They say these kits are "bolt on"... that is a lie. I had to bust out the plasma cutting a couple times. Overall it was a pretty simple install. You just have to get creative.

I still have to make my new exhaust system and put my new rotors on.

That is the only "before" picture I have to compare the difference.

So is it level with the 2 different amounts you lowered it?

I'm not really into the whole lowered truck thing, but it looks like yours is tastefully done.

Yes, It is level now. I am thinking about adding bags in the back so it will be level when I tow my Jeep around.

I've always thought they looked cool and this is the first pickup truck I've ever owned... so I figured, why not? I thought it turned out pretty cool. It's not 4WD so it'd be useless to lift it.

X2, but those jeeps in the back are really nice especially the CJ.

I wish I had the funds and the time to do full bags and body drop. This truck is my daily driver though. I was just considering a simple leveling bag setup for the back.

I've never been a fan of just rear bags... and with your truck level already anyways, i don't see much of a point. Although, one thing that well definitely clean the look up is taking that rear bumper off and getting a smooth roll pan... Will definitely look great on that truck.

I thought it was a nice looking modification and tastefully done. A lowered truck can look very good if done right, very good job!
If you think it looks good, and it makes you happy then do it!

He's not talking air bags to level it now. But, air bags to keep it level when he uses it as a tow rig.
I like it lowered. Looks slick. Especially with those rims. I'd find better HALO lights though. Those look retarded. I'm sure someone made some better ones then that. ;)

The paint is the 12 year old factory paint. It's in pretty darn good shape. I did a little bit of sanding and buffing just to clean it up a bit.

I haven't really come across anything that looks much better. I got those lights off of ebay for like $180 including bulbs. If I stumble across some halo's that look substantially better I will consider upgrading. But for now... these are cheap and they work.
And yes you are right, I want rear bags to level when I tow heavy stuff. I would be willing to bet that if I hooked up the trailer right now with a Jeep on it, my frame would be resting on the axle.

I have been looking into doing this. I have a few ideas that I'd like to try. I'd also like to shave the handle off the tailgate but I'm gonna wait 'til I am ready to paint the whole truck.
