Many of the comments at the bottom are very interesting.
This website is where Chinese nationals post up various things and discuss, its pretty interesting.
Some of the people in the comments say "If anyone here in China were able to buy guns, you wouldn't be able to go out without being shot"
Atleast one person gets it though, stating "When everyone has guns, no one is afraid of a few people having guns"

its just an interesting site all and all...

When everyone has guns, no one is afraid of a few people having guns. If it is fear of overthrowing the government, there is no need. If the current government in power truly doesn’t follow the people’s will, in four years at most, they will have to step down and at worst there are still impeachment procedures. There is no need to use knives and guns [no need for violence], truly not worth it. If one wants to express one’s political views, one can organize one’s own political party. Although America in reality is only a two-party system, there still exist other political parties, and what more, the constitution protects the participation of every political party, with the most powerful non-mainstream parties like the Green Party normally getting around 10% of the vote. If one day, this party were to replace the Democratic Party or the Republican Party, the constitution would also protect it. And when there is social disorder, there is the SWAT. With so many people having guns in America, I don’t think a little handgun or a small hunting rifle can cause any social impact.
Very well thought out response. Given the other responses this fellow may be the most educated of the lot. Not saying the others. This fellow seems to have a more in depth understanding our us/ the impact of gun owner ship.

"...If you carry a gun illegally, the police have the right to kill you. Americans’ tradition highly values life…"
Ummm, I don't think that is entirely true.

I have not seen guns displayed as such. Maybe at Bass Pro, but in an out of the way corner and dug into the store. Guns & ammo displayed as shown seems rather careless.

Guns aren't dangerous, people are dangerous so people should be banned! wait..... let me think about this.

Its been atleast four years, probably five, since I've been in a Walmart; as I recall, they were displayed in cases just like that.

Perhaps its because I lived in the sticks in Indiana. But the wal-marts near my home town display guns in this manner.

I have seen some like that too. Hell, at Gander mountain you just take the guns right off the rack yourself and handle them. There isn't any glass or locks except for a tether.

Feel free to critique my form. I consider myself a good shot, but there is one specific thing in this video that really annoys me.

Not only is he pointing the gun at his head, the slide is in the closed position, and his finger appears to on the trigger itself, not the trigger guard.
I'm guessing he got that hat out of a cereal box.

I thought this persons comment was interesting
"I think the American Constitution has a part that says the citizens have the right to overthrow an authoritarian government…it is what I have heard, not sure if it is true or not."
Almost makes me wish we did. :D
This one wasn't bad either....Chuckle
"
America is a country that was built up from the first shot of the Battle of Lexington (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battles_of_Lexington_and_Concord). And the biggest reason they were victorious at the time was because the ordinary people had guns."

Isn't it amazing how people in other countries have a better grasp of what our country is all about than many Americans?
