I have an interview there and may accept the position if all goes well.. So school me on Nashville, whats the cost of living, what is there to do, where is a decent place to live. Any wheeling? Even though I'm thinking about selling the Jeep.

the total metropolitan population of Nashville, TN is over 1.5 million people; you're making it sound like a ghost town...

I've got a couple of friends that live there...it's a nice place but like any other city that size, it has it's issues...I think you will like it, but after a while, it's just another place to live and go to work...after you get settled, let us know we can start planning our sleep overs!

Didn't you hear? Nashville is no longer there. It was was washed away. In 50 years it will be just a legend like Atlantis.

I was there about a year ago. Nice City, Nice people. Its got its spots though. Found myself cruising through a festered nasty place. People there look like they need a good tornado to clean the place up.

they had one right through down town a few years ago. Most recently was a flood washing half the city away. I think locusts are next.

That could be said for every city. I was looking for the good places and the bad.
But I'm headed back again to look for places to live and unless something changes in the next 24 hours, I'm taking the job.

Elvis is buried in Graceland which is just outside Memphis. Nashville is half way across the state.
