well I also have a 2001 ram. No one seems to use this board. I try and look at it but spend most time on the Jeep board.

I'm usually on the Jeep BB. I just bought the truck a week ago today. Thought there would be more people on this BB. Oh well. I picked up a 2001 Ram, Quad cab, 4x4, Laramie SLT. So far I like it, seems more truck like than GM. Hate F!#d.

i also have purchased a 2001 quad cab but i'm dissappointed with the trans shifting being so sluggish and it feels like its bucking between 39-50mph. does anybody else feel this dodge says its a prob and there working on it . doubt it.

Well I have had mine for just over a year and have not had any problems. I have the 5.9l with and auto. trans. It does seem slugish, but I have not experienced any bucking. It could be that your overdrive shift point needs to be adjusted. Try driving with the overdrive off and see if the bucking still exists.

I've got a 2001 5.9 quad, offroad, 15,000 on it the only problem has been the track bar failed at 11,000 miles, beefy bar with small ends, Dodge know's it is a problem you should check yours! 11mpg but oh well! 33X12.5 procomp/MT's on the factory 17" wheels great on the beach aired to 15psi. Weather guard tool box is great, Smitty built side bars so the wife can get in. Hidden Hitch(for towing the Jeeps around)
Any back to Jeep B.B.
