anyone else think the new 1500 looks kinda like a ford? First Ram with IFS, is it the SUV Ram?

Does not remind me of a Ford as far as looks. I like the way it looks. Have not looked at the IFS... :D

Well it has better brakes and a pretty nice interior, w/ more options for the cargo/backseat, new moter too...4.7 I think, dropped the 318 or 5.2 looked good on paper, I had the spec. sheets But a friend of mine is in the market, He took them home to run them by the War Dept, Good Luck to him.... ;)

I agree with Jeepstuff, looks kinda lik a Ford from the side and rear. And I don't like the stretched out grille. Looks like a huge-ass mouth or something. Rear doors are not really that big. Open one up. To make the slightly bigger cab, they took it out of the bed. I personally haven't met anyone who likes them, yet.......

truck looks good, runs stronger with a smaller motor. lighter with less motor and they have the cooling systems seperate, cools the cab 40% faster and keeps the truck running cooler = better response from the motor. personally, good design more efficent same cost and they have gone to a electronic 4wd, just wish the damn tailgate would lock.
