So this forum seems a little unused but maybe someone knows the answer anyway smile.gif Anyway the first snow fall happened last week before thanksgiving and I had the truck in 4wd do to it being slippery. Now everytime I make a corner (right or left) it feels like its a still in 4wd (but not as severe). Is there a solenoid to disengage the front axle that might be stuck on? Or does anyone else have any experience with this that might give me a good starting point to start looking at things?

I know alot of older Rams used a vacuum disconnect just like the Jeeps, but not sure if they where still using it in 03 or not ?

Its definately something with the 4x4 system. The other day I put it into 4x4 and when I took it out the problem went away. Been too damn cold to mess with it though. Not to mention I have not seen the problem again.

So as the weather got warmer the problem really presented itself. The wheel joint in the driverside front axle completely siezed. That was a fun experience at any rate I know own a 20 ton press if anyone needs to get a siezed u-joint out of a axle shaft :)
