View Full Version : Any places to go in S W Missouri?

Does anyone know of any o r v trails in the Mark Twain National Forest? Or other places to jeep it around Springfiend \ Southwest Missouri Area. I know about Chadwick, but I haven't been yet. Ditto Deepwater. My 80 CJ5 is pretty much bone stock, so I'm not looking to get extreme, just collect some mud, or trail dust.

I am new to Springfield. I have heard there are places near Ava and Chadwick, but I haven't found them. Chadwick seems to be set up for dirt bikes & 4 wheelers. I would still like to try the National Forest again, there should be something there.
I was at Camp Jeep this year in Virginia and the rumor was it is going to be at Branson in 2002.
I will keep looking. Let me know if you find anything.
Check out the midwest jeep thing. Most of the people there are from Missouri and I think they even have an Ozarks chapter. Good luck.
