Hey Everyone I am looking for some good places in Eastern Mass or Southern NH to take my mostly stock TJ Four Wheeling.
Any suggestions or contacts for clubs would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your help.

HI
I am also looking for a place to go 4 wheeling in Eastern Ma as well. I am in the same boat as you. Got the Jeep and the 4x4 itch but not the right stock on it yet. I have heard you can go to the Plymouth state forest. It's about 30-45 min south of Boston. My Brother went there years ago in his Jeep. I am not sure if it is illegal now or not I am looking in to it. You can also go to Morton pond in Plymouth its Exit 6 off of Rt 3. It’s a little harder than that to find but I will try to get you road names. I have taken my Jeep there. It's a lot of dirt roads with mud puddles to get dirty in. The roads are narrow but it’s not illegal. smile.gif There is also good swimming, Fishing and kayaking in the pond in the summer. If the cold last I am sure you could go ice skating. If you hear of any other place can you let me know? I will do the same! Thanks! :D

YOu can also click on the 4x4 clubs on the top of the page it's wright under the green Jeep cherokee and Jeep grand cherokee tabs. Then click on MA or NH and it will give you web sights for Jeep clubs.

I know of one place in Hanover MA. I found the following quote from another BBS (OffRoad.com)
"I go to hanover on rt 53 across from starland behind the old elks club. I have never seen a cop there or have been told not to wheel in it."

Further posts also corroberated this story. My brother was in there last week and had no problems other than some mud puddles that he got stuck in.

Another place to look for where to off-road is:
http://tellico.off-road.com/ubbthreads/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=where2offroad

You might have to register to view it but like here, it is free. Another good source of info!

This is a very old post, but just wondering if anyone in MA has found any new places to go wheeling.
