There is a place called Turkey Bay OHV park. There are some pretty tough places there, so I wouldn't suggest taking a stock vehicle. It costs $15 for a three day pass, and you can camp there. They have setback 2500 acres for off road fun. The only drawback is that you have to share it with 4wheelers, motorcycles, and dune buggies. it has everything from mud bogs, to really challenging hills. It's a great way to spend a weekend!

Cool place! Our club went down there last summer.
(Got lots of custom pin-striping!)

I wouldn't recommend camping there though. Not if you want to sleep.
We stayed at a nearby campground. (No drunken ATVers and Dirtbikers!) smile.gif

I had a blast and I'm looking forward to going back this summer!

Turkey Bay or Turkey Creek as the locals call it is a great weekend run. Get a map!! Avoid the popular weekends as the ATV's overrun the place and the dust is inches thick. I recommend Hillman Ferry campground a little to the North as they have showers and electric sites if you need them. The side roads and old logging trails are fairgame in the Land Between the Lakes(LBL) area as well and no charge for these easy to easy-moderate trails.

It is a great place to go for all skill levels. I wheeled there several times in my stock 99 tj sport. Some of the things I couldn't do but there is plenty that I could. Now with lift and tires I can try it all.
