Drove up to North Georgia last week to the Chatahoochee National Forest area to do some backpacking. We found some great trails and campsites all within close proximity to each other. Particularly, enjoyed one that left from Amicalola State Park and wound its way up to the top of Frosty Mountain. Another nice road, not too techincal, Duncan Ridge Road goes from FS Road 4 to real near Vogel State Park. Anyways, enjoyed the roads tremendously - climbing mountains is not the usual jeeping fare down here in Fla!
