Storage Ideas and Grand Canyon trip

Hi all! I am a newbie to this board & glad to be here! My boyfriend & I are going on an 18 day trip starting in Denver, CO, going through NM on our way to the Grand Canyon for 4 or more days. From there we are off to Pheonix for a couple days, then on to Tuscon, Nogalas, Mexico. Back to the Grand Canyon to see the other side. On to Las Vegas, Death Valley and back through NM & Utah on our way home to Denver. We will be traveling in my bf's '91 Jeep Wrangeler. I am looking for tips on "not to be missed" destinations along the way. I am also needing tips on unique storage tips for such a long trip!
