Hey, I'm looking to get a jeep from a guy in Alaska and I'll be driving it with my brother from Anchorage back here to North Carolina (go Hurricanes!).
Anyhow, I'm looking for advice on the best way to get into the US headed east (fairly directly) from Alaska, keeping in mind that I need to stay on road and near civilization (as much as possible) in case of trouble on the road.
Anyone have anything that might help me out here? Are there any good books to check out or decent maps of the main routes?
Also, what tools or parts would you want to have on board if you were the one making the drive? I think that's a cool quesiton, I have an idea but I want to see what others think.
