Just giving you a heads up on a great Jamboree. It is in Canada in the Kawarthas, Ontario. It is on July 5-7 and July 12-14. It is a great time with trails from 101 right to 9 ratings. Rocks, mud and everything in between. The cost is around $220 Canadian, but the way of the exchange rate (1.58 Canadian to $1 us) you do the math. When I get more info I will pass it a long. In the past about 20 to 30% are from the US as far away as Florida. It is a way to travel but it is well worth it.
We are the host Club again (London & Area Jeep Owners Club). We are always looking for new members from all walks of life. It has always been a sell out and there is 8 more all over Canada. If interested please E me.
Later and Happy trails. Jon

Jeep® Jamboree Canada hits 5-year mark in 2002 …
Jeep® Jamboree Canada organizers today announced program details and next year’s schedule of events for the popular outdoor lifestyle program for Jeep enthusiasts and their families.
“One of the key Jeep brand messages is clearly about going anywhere, doing extraordinary things. Jeep vehicles give people the freedom of travelling to places beyond roads they normally use everyday,” said Pearl Davies, Chrysler/Jeep Brand Manager for DaimlerChrysler Canada Inc. “Jamboree events are ideal venues to allow the capability of the product to be combined with fun and outdoor activities,” Davies said.
“Next year, Jamboree participants will be invited to test-drive the full line of 2002 Jeep vehicles - the new Jeep Liberty, Grand Cherokee and TJ models - at all Canadian events,” said Davies. “Jeep 101 training, for first-time Jeep off-roaders, is also returning next year.”
“Every year, we introduce new program elements to Jamborees in order to keep things fresh for our participants. By adding full-line Jeep test-drives next year, we anticipate even greater participation,” said Ron Baker, President of AVP Inc., the company responsible for operating the events in Canada.
“Thrilling off-road experiences, new, lasting friendships and memorable weekends have become cornerstones of Jeep Jamborees in Canada. We are pleased to move forward with plans to carry on this successful program,” Baker said.

Lars, if you are interested I can send you some places where to stay. If in a hotel or if you want to camp with some of the trail guides. When I got engaged last year at the jamboree there was 75 people at my camp site. What a party. It is so fun sitting around the camp fire after the days trails. We start on the Wednesday before and enjoy new people to go out with us? She said "yes". But not the way I drive. She drives and I do the rest.
Later Jon
