I hate that man. I saw on the other post after I posted this one. Well it happens. At least it waited til after the trail ride. Of course it could have waited about a block away from the house. I'm glad yall had fun, I was miserable all day, because I was unable to go. BUT I told my wife next time it doesn't matter what happens I am going. Good luck on repairs.
Hey, where is your CJ now? I had problems with mine up in Ellijay. I now know a good mech. up there. If you need his name/number let me know.
Sorry you had problems. They are a great bunch of guys to be stuck with. When Mine broke, they did everything possible to help me out.

After it was all over, I'm really glad we decided to come back down instead of continue on. It would've happened on the trail... but there possibly would have been less damage. The heat is what caused 90% of the damage. All I need right now is a new spindle for a CJ Dana 30. Then I can peice together the frontend.
I made arrangements today for a tow dolly and a day off. I'm going up Wednasday to pick it up. I wanted to go Tuesday, but I have court Tuesday morning same as I did today. I sat there from 11:00 'till 1:45. That sucked.
The run was great. Don't let me ruin the thread before it gets started. smile.gif
When I get the CJ fixed, I'm going again. This time, it hopefully won't be on a Sunday. smile.gif
