October 19th...The Pines?

The PA Jeep Girls would like to get a ride together for this date and open it up to anyone interested. Most of the girls are only slightly modified and a few have never been out an organized ride, So I would need a few others to help me out as guides and advisors. I was thinking the pines would be a good due to the above reasons....Anyone interested?

Actually I've been thinking about this and debating on whether I want to drive or not... Figure if I ride near the leader (or right behind), I can get pics of all the others going through obstacles and slinging mud around... If I'm shotty with the leader or near the leader then I can do that easily and just hop in someone's vehicle as they pass by without having to worry about moving my Jeep up or towing anyone out...

This requires thought... scary eh?

73 south to the circle at olgas diner. go east on 70 to the red lion circle at 206. go south on 206 to the pic a lilly on the left side about 10-15 minutes from the red lion circle. if you get to the atsion ranger station you went too far and have to backtrack.

im sure someone else will help out with more detailed instructions or an adress for the pic.

there is a wawa on route 70 where i get fuel and also a few places on route 206 south of the circle to get fuel.

Thanx Matt! I usually just follow Dean and never pay attention to where I am or whats around me! I do remember the the wawa that screwed up and gave kevin tuna salad instead of chicken salad for lunch and him not being too happy bout it on the last ride I was out for, then we we stopped on the way home Dean and Kevin decded to give them a hard time bout it!

i just got off the phone with my friend. he is upstate where the funeral is going to be tomorrow (near scranton). he is going to meet me farther upstate at that cabin tomorrow night to hunt all day saturday. the 19th will still be up in the air for hunting but since he is going to be there this weekend i might work around things later on so i can go wheeling.

he told me that the family is doing pretty good. as sick as the girl was they were pretty much ready for what happened.

Btw, are you all planning on running just one large group on this ride, or break up into smaller groups? I would be willing to take 5 or 6 out to Hidden Lakes or maybe Forked River Mountain, if that would help. Anymore than that would cause bottleneck problems on the climbs and undue erosion to the hills. It isn’t good to take large groups out there. FYI: part of the area is also off limits.

I went out late yesterday for a quick local run. Of course its still raining and there is lots and lots of water because it hasn't had a chance to sink thru the sand. If it doesn't rain anymore this week it will be pretty much gone by next weekend. I think I may run the swamp loop this afternoon or tomorrow while its still a challenge. I love it when all you see is water and you have to guess where the trail may be. :D

id hate to miss the run but i only get 6 weeks to bow hunt.

I just now realized this is scheduled for Saturday. Guess I’ve been going out for so long on Sunday’s that I paid no attention. I think I’m scheduled to be performing a heart transplant or brain surgery or something.

i realy want to go but the deer are calling. its supposed to get very cold upstate and that should get the deer moving real good. i might get to see how scary my swampers are on ice because they are forecasting freezing rain or possible snow up there friday afternoon and night(should probably put the A/T's back on soon). hopefully its just rain, i hate when my 4 hour ride turns into 7. if the hunting gets cancelled for any reason you all know ill be in the pines though. ;)

Whas a 322?The Commadore Barry bridge is route 322, from the map I was looking at it appears that I can take 322 over to Jersey then hit rte 54(?) to 206. I assume that I would then have to head north onto 206, but I'm trying to get some idea as to how long or far of a ride that is compared to going across the betsy ross, since I 'm closer to DE to begin with.
