hey, i've been in correspondence with the Katy tx4x4 prez, Steve Henderson, and he said that they are going to the Slab next weekend, probably leaving on Friday and coming back Sunday, the Slab is located on the Llano River in Kingsland, it looks AWESOME!!! check it out! http://128.83.80.200/taco/otherslab.html

Have you been to "Rock IT Land" yet? My parentals live in Austin and I'm going to make the trip one of these days. I hear its only an hour from Austin...of course, that makes it 8.5 hours from Baton Rouge.

hm... cant say i have... where is that located?? maybe its the same thing? the slab is not far from Austin at all.. its maybe an hour west of austin.

jeez.. i knew it.. no texas jeepers check the trail rides. oh well.. yall are missing out!! we're leaving at 7 pm on friday in houston for the slab, which is in kingsland, we'll be there to sunday.
