I have about 25 megs worth of videos, and 10 very large pics. My camera won't allow me to change resolution, so the pictures are at 1280x960, unless I resize them myself. If anyone would like them, please let me know, and I'll e-mail them to ya. :D

thanks everyone for giving me the oportunity to fill up my interior for the first time. the "high water" mark on the side of my jeep is a good 8-10" above the bottom of my door. bristoy would be proud. my jeep now needs a PSAF mod sometime this week. if the weather isnt too bad this week and i get time, i think the carpet needs to be removed. ill be spending tomorrow afternoon changing the tranny and transfer case fluids.
i was impressed with the fact that there were very few stucks, good driving. only one if you dont count dean. BTW, someone get a sticker made for that ford that says "dean recovery vehicle".
to all the new people: as soon as you get a chance, remove your rear brake drums and clean them out. getting all the crap out of there will help the rear brakes in the long run.
i think i have about 40 pictures and ill post them sometime tomorrow night.

Hey everybody I wish I would have made it in time. We got there too late you guys were already gone. :( Had some problems with the CJ this morning.
I drove around anyway for a couple of hours but couldn't really play in the mud because we didn't have a "recovery unit" Didn't want to get stuck in the pines with the Jersey Devil.
Glad you had fun! Jenn

Hey Guys, I need to thank you for a great first time in the pines. I had a blast!!! You made a new guy feel welcomed. A special shout too Matt, for letting me tag along with him, Ed for driving pointers, and Heather for letting me join in. What a great bunch of people. I'm not sure of her name but the girl that was in front of me with the tj, she had all 4 wheels off the ground on the woop-de-doos. Pretty cool!! When I got home I noticed my radio antenna was gone. Somewhere in the pines I guess? I laughed and said what a fun day. Thanks again, Gene

well I just finished hosing down, inspecting and cleaning the interior (getting ready for the hardtop) and I'm proud to say no damage! There are a few additional small scratches, but nothing that cant be compounded out!
Jeffrey has told Jeff at least 6 times now that he needs to buy a new jeep and not an Xterra. Jeff's reply is "why we can always play with Heathers". He talked about it ALL night, and couldnt wait to show his grandmom the pictures this morning! They cant wait to go out again. Now if I can just get him to buy jeep presents instead of flowers!

And as usual, a great time was had...thanks everyone for strapping me out...sorry, but the GSA's are staying until they wear out.

ED tried twice, once on each side but ended up backing out of it. tim went in it and right out the other side. he had a huge advantage with his locker. the hole was much deeper than the last time. last time my water mark was about half way between the bottom of the body and the bottom of the door. this time it was about 8-10" above the bottom of my door. peep said that my back license plate was under water at one point.
Terri I realy dont know how many were there more than 15 but less than 20
check out Holliday`s picts Tim was the only one that I saw make it :D but Greene said he made it
I did get out of that by myself with no water tongue.gif
I had no damage again ;)
But that TREE got in my way two or three times :D

:D </font>[/QUOTE]there will be more shorty, im working on them right now. i have some very good shots of the stubborn tree that ED talked about.
anyone that went in the real deep stuff might want to take a sample of your fluids. my Tcase was fine but my tranny had literaly chocolate milk in it. it was pretty bad. it shifts much better now that the fluid is clean again and the clutch is back to normal after power spraying everything underneath. im gonna check my axles soon as soon as i order new gaskets, usually they are ok though. im gonna look into putting a tap in my axles somewhere so i can get samples from them to keep an eye on them.

Well, thanks again everybody. I apologize to those that know me...I wasn't feeling like myself on Saturday. And to those that don't know me, I'm USUALLY not that quiet. I would have been ok, if that seriously out of tune Jazz band would just quit playing between my ears. :(
Holliday had it right...I went home and crashed. The dog woke me up at 10 to be fed, and that was my night...pretty much my Sunday too.
Thanks to everybody for lending a hand while I dried out from that hole, and Matt, I swear...it's a Jeep motor in there...not a Honda! :D

Cobra is a good cb but uniden seems to make the budget model that does all th cobra does and dont have all those tricky dials to mess up the signal with! I personally still need to fill the spot in my overhead console been empty for 2 yrs now cb antenna there cable there just not run cuz that connector just seems like a bastard to get through those plugs in the firewall but ill either get one of those cb's soon enough!

For the pines it really doesn't matter. As long as it isn't a hand held. Because of the trees you won't get more than a 1/4 - 1/2 mile in the woods.

Thanks GeneI got the CB Kit from QTec, no complaints here! It works great in the Pines. I think there's a lot of interference on highway though (probably because of the rigs talking and driving heh)... had trouble hearing greeny when I first caravan'd out to the Pines.

Looks like everyone had a blast. Sorry to say but I had to leave town with no notice, my mother-in-law passed away. Right now I'm down the keys and this is the first time that I've been able to get on-line. The wife has been doing OK but the next two days is going to be the toughest.
Take care everyone,
