ahh.. this is going to be very useful when i turn my attention to my wife's WJ.

i'll kick this off.. anyone put a cb in a WJ?
where did you mount it? got a pic?

no...but I've been thinking about putting one in the ZJ....I've also seen alot of people with CB in the ZJ/WJ's that have put them in the center consoles....no pictures but I can see it in my head.....guess that doesn't help... :confused:

well, i had one mounted in julie's ZJ.. just screwed it into the center console trim on the passenger side.. but i don't want to do anything like that in the WJ, because in a couple years it's our equity bomb to trade in.. smile.gif

that and for some reason i think the console is a different style or something and it wouldn't work out..

i can see it 'inside' the armrest console.. but ever since putting a 6-pack in the console of an explorer, and knowing how big of a PITA that was, i would avoide that at all cost..

Get a Cobra 75 WX, ( i think that is the correct model #), it is a totally hidden unit. All that is visible is a mic, and all the functions are controlled from the Mic.. I have one in my YJ, and plan on moving it over to my XJ.

Again,,, in a ZJ....

Radio Shack TRC 504. Slim line Cb mounted to the center console of the passenger's side. They've been discontinued, but there are comparable models out there.

is it possible to put uppers or lowers on a cobra 75?

actually, there just might be a write up on this sometime in the near future.. with the inspiration of this new forum, it's time i did put a cb in the WJ.. i've put it off too long..
