Does anyone know if the Canyon Group wheel and Good Year Tire package that comes from a new TJ would fit on a 98 Limited Cherokee with the Up Country Package? We lifted our TJ and now are looking at selling the wheels and tires to a friend who recenlty bought an XJ. The tires on the XJ are junk so he was looking into new tires and I was hoping to be able to sell him mine.
Any help or insights are apprecaited. I was told the Canyon Group comes with 5.5" backspacing.

Not sure (big help right?!) I'm assuming that's the 30" wheel and tire package? I would think that should fit with upcountry, i think that gives an inch or so over plain stock. plain stock will fit 235/75s which are arouns 28.5-29" in diameter so you only gaining an inch of diameter tops. I'd be more concerned with the deeper backspacing. if you wheel it, you'll have to adjust the steering stops to avoid rubbing the control arms. my 235's rubbed when I had a 2" budget boost.
