I don't have the answer... wait a moment and Jerry should have it. My unknowing guess would be:

Make sure you are connected directly to your battery. Make sure you have a good ground. Make sure your antenna also has good ground.

Oh... I like how you mounted your CB under the Tuffy armrest. Very cool. smile.gif

I'll stab at it but I have never heard of this before.

You may have created a ground loop, check the grounds make sure you are connected to the metal that is attached to the frame. Also, connect the grounds at different points not together.

I am not sure but my second guess would be that you are just over loading the front end of the radio with the other radio, i.e. too close. I have never heard of this between a CB and a broad cast radio but maybe.

Luck with this one, let teh forum know how you made out.

I will ask you to be more specific, though. Is the stereo bleeding through into the CB transmission, or is it coming through the CB's audio speaker, as if receiving?

If it is coming through the audio speaker, then it is likely that the cuplrit is the amplifier of the stereo being picked up by the internal audio amp of the CB.

The metal case of the console would be the problem, I think. Move either the CB or the stereo and then test it.

Diamatron,

How is the CB thing going ?

I would think the CB speaker next to you should improve your Sterio listening, ha ha :D

Let us know what is happening and how you fixed it if you did.
