im going to buy that subwoffer, but it says i should get a 2channel bridge amp for it, but how do u bridge an amp?, and what kinda amp do you think i should get? thx guys..

Bridging an amp normally consists of using the left positive terminal and the right negative terminal as one output. The other two are not used. As I mentioned in the other posts about subs, I dig Fosgate stuff. They've even got some mono amps out right now that you can get on eBay for way cheap, something like 500 watts rms for less than $200...

Say your amp is a 400w amp. Usually it will be something like 200x2. When you bridge an amp you're making it 400x1. (in 2nd grader terms smile.gif ) Also a lot of low end amps will sucker you by selling you an amp supposedly rated for a lot of power. What you really need to look at is RMS power. RMS is the power your amp will normally operate at. A lot of low end amps will try to sell you on the peak power when in reality the RMS is crap.
