I want to install 2 fire stick antennas on my mirrors. One for am/fm and one for cb. Will this interfere with performance?

If they are wired completely separately (save for grounding), I don't see how it would affect either one adversely or favorably. Let us know how it goes.

My only thought would be that the second antenna is cut for the CB frequencies and although the receiver isn't setup for 27 mhz frequencies it might have some feed back; might not too.
How do you intend to attach the AM/FM coax to the CB Antenna ?

Luck to ya, sounds like a good idea to keep things in balance.

I have found that for commercial FM broadcast reception the length of the antenna doesn't really matter, as long is it is more than a foot long.

I went to firesticks Web site and they sell 3' and4' fire sticks for am/fm and cbs. Even stainless mounting bracketts that I will attach in line with my mirrors

If you use identical CB whips, 4 * 27MHz = 108MHz, or the very top end of the US FM Broadcast range, so you may find reception a little better toward the top of the band. I'd go with the ones mentioned earlier that are cut for the specific uses.

Hughes,

How the antenna job going ?

Did you get one of the AM/FM/CB antennas from FireStix; how did it work out ?
I would be interested in how it is working.

Does FireStix have a special mount for the antenna or some special coax to hook up the two different radios ?

Please let us know ?

Thanks,
