Did a search... what sizes TJ speakers

I am looking to purchase some boat speakers for the TJ to replace the stock ones. I did a search and can't seem to find any post telling me what size the front and sound bar speaker are in my 2000 Sahara. Can anyone help? I want to get the speakers first then take the old ones out.

The front stock speakers are 4x6, the sound bar stock are 5 1/4" round. I replaced my sound bar speakers with 6 1/2" Pioneers and they fit in the same space and the screws fit perfect in the stock sound bar holes. There are also lots of kits for replacing the front speakers with round speakers for better sound, and you can find upgraded 4x6 front speakers on ebay and other places if you don't want to upgrade to round speakers.

Or if you dont want to buy the conversion to the round for the front, with a little cutting and some scrap metal, you can make your own conversion. Thats what i did and its worked great. Just cut one side of the existing bracket so the 5-1/4" would fit and cut some then sheet metal to replace the cut side and attached with screws. Look at the site to see the piece in the dash you need to cut out to make it fit.

I have instaled 6.5 in my sound bar, and 5.25 in my front dash. It really made a difference in sound quality. Here are a couple of links for the install in the front dash
