i know this is in the wrong forum but my buddy has a stock 96 XJ, does any one know what axles are in it? I have an 88 YJ. COuld i swap em?

He should have a HP Dana 30 up front, but his has coil spring mounts, instead of the leaf spring pads like yours.
Out back, he should have a (I think) Dana 35, or a Chrysler 8.25 that is SOA, while you should have a Dana 35 SUA.
I think some Cherokees had the Dana 44 rear, but I don't know the year/model breaks on that.
Not a straight swap either way.......
