Stupid Hella Question

By any chance, does anyone know if/where some grille style guards are available for Hella 500's? I hate having to get out to take the covers off, but don't want to roll without some protection on them.

he wants ones like KC's have with the grille slotted grill, so they're still proteced but still useable.

i run the soft covers on my daylighters, they protect them from the branches and rocks that occasionaly hit my lights and its really not that bif of a deal to slip em off

Oh ok... well the thing about the ones like the KC's... they will melt when you use them for a little while when they're on. I'll go out and take some pics of my 2 melted ones really quick...

I've used these in the past and they work great. Not indestructible (esp. when they get cold in winter)but I had no problems with them melting.

Thanks for the input. I wasn't aware that the grille style covers melt...that's kind of disturbing.

I think I'll check out some of these clear guards some of you pointed out. That may be the answer I'm looking for.
