31's vs 3.07 gears

2001 sport with 3.07 gears planning on putting 31's will I lose much power. Im running 235's right now

No, wont be a huge difference, but you will notice it. I am running 30 inchers with 3.07s and I can hardly accelerate in 5th gear.

I am running 33's with 3.07's. Its nothing to call home about, but its tolerable. I have'nt seen 5th gear since I put them on though. And I cant use 4-Hi in the woods, need 4-Low and 2nd gear.

I try to see the silver lining here.......

As I recall, my 5th gear made a bit of whining noise back when I was on stock size tires. Now I can't use 5th because I'm on 33's........Problem Solved!!! :D

I wonder what else I can "fix"??? :rolleyes:
