'bout to get new feet for the Jeep. I think I'm going with 32x11.5x15 BFG's; however, I am considering the 33x12.5 BFGs.
I have a 3.73 gear ratio and know my rear axle is the HD Dana 44. Auto tranny. Will do a 2" BB with either tire, for what its worth.
If I opt for the 33's, will I lose enough power to notice a large difference or will the Jeep still have enough to perform decently (daily driver/occasional off-road/occasional highway)? Or opinions if I should just get the 32's regardless...

I don't think that you would notice an appreciable difference between the 32' and the 33's. I would just go for the 33's, IMO.
My YJ has 3.07's and 33's, and yes, it's way too steeply geared, but I don't think that it would be nearly as bad with 3.73's, especially if your doing mostly on-road driving, with occasional light off-roading.
Just my opinion.

It would be preferable to have a lift of 4" for 33" tires. This can be accomplished with suspension lift alone, or a combination of body and suspension lift with proper bumpstops. Depending on tire width and diameter will determine steering and articulation clearance...

Personally, I like a suitable suspension lift, like 2.5"-4.0" and a 1" Daystar BL combined with a 1" MML.

Will eventually do a 4 inch lift. I am primarily worried about the potential regearing issue, but if the general consensus thinks the 3.73's are good enought for 33's, than I guess I'll go with the 33's.

I have 4.88 gears in mine w 33s. thought i would put 3.73 in to get more low end and suffered badly on top end if you plan on goin on the highway i would stay around the 31 to 32 range once you get in the 33s and higher you loose alot of top end not to mention gas consumption

i've 33's with 3.55 gears and 4.0 and does ok. The 3.73s will be better and i think you'll like the look better then 32's.
