cold air intake

It will suck a lot more fine dust into the motor then the OEM filter allows and you won't see any MPG or HP increase...IMO

on mine i got a noticeable increase in power and like 1 more MPG

Cold air intakes are great for street vehicles, but I dont think so much for off road vehicles.

Make it easier for cold air to get in, and you also make it easier for water to get in.

i have heard about guys making their own "hi flow cold air" intakes out of the stock induction hoses and filter box. somthing along the lines of changing out the filer to a K&N and upgrading the mass air flow sensor. just a though. you might want to read into it.

A majority of the cold air filters need specific cleaners and oils that cost as much if not more than a new filter.

I would suggest the new FRAM Synwash. For around $20, it will pay for itself much faster than the cold air intakes.

:rolleyes: i was speaking in general. any stock box, any stock induction hoses, any vehicle. i was just saying to look it up as that and see what come up. :cool:

I have the AEM brute force and I definitely noticed a difference- but ya I'd worry more in deep water now than before, and dust (if it were dusty here)
