Recently I have been hearing a squeeking under my 97 TJ when turning right at moderate speeds. 20-40 mph. It dosent happen when I turn left. If the road is bumpy I especially hear it. Almost as if the muffler is riding up n down against its brackets? Its definatel metal on metal. Im worried about the suspension. Anyone experience this, or know what I should be lookin for?

Check to see if your exhaust is rubbing against your front passenger upper control arm. Don't know if that would be it since it's happening during a turn. Also check to make sure your control arms are still tight and your track bars are still tight.

Like '03 X Colby said check the exhaust. Check the whole length of it. for loose parts or visual evidence of scraping. The skidplate and the tail pipe can be troublesome spots also. Doesn't sound like anything mechanical per se . . .

might want to hit up all the grease fittings anyway and check some bushings and also the control arms for the hell of it
