atleast he built a vehicle and as such I would assume he has a bit a respect and appreciation for what he's got. He probably takes good care of it too. It always buggs me to see a 16 yr old kid in a brand new shiney vehicle mommy and daddy paid for. They generally show no respect for their ride, just rubs me the wrong way.

Sweet Jeep man. On the teenager note I went to high school with a girl who totalled 4 cars in the first 6 months to a year of having her license. The last one her dad bought her and the person she hit a new car to not have to call the cops. graemlins/hijack.gif
sorry about that jeep looks kick ass

Are the corner guards black steel, or plastic? The Jeep looks great! I want to post some photos of mine, when I figure out how (I'm a computer duffas).

Nice, and those fender flares won't crack easy...

Thanks for all the compliment all. Every bolt on that jeep has been turned by me ;) The only hold up on a few things now is $$$$ The corner guards are from quadratec, they are just the textured vinyl. I wanted something that if a tree limb hit there wouldnt be scratches everywhere. The spare tire cover came from autozone  I get a lot of comments on the spare LOL

My sons truck is a 1984 bumble bee farting rubber band tire B2600 with 239000 miles and still runs sweet. the only problem is its like your sitting on the ground well when he parks it it does sit on the ground. . And for an old man like me I feel like im crawling out of a coffin when getting out of it.

Duke let me know how that aussie works out. I have been thinking or that one. Although tonight I have the engine tore down to install the new exhaust manifold.

As long as you realize that it's not the rule- then that's fine. Parents got me a shiny ride (not new) when I was young... but at the time I was all but guaranteed college and then pro ball -- injuries changed that track. But It depends a lot on how the parent goes about it. My ride wasn't expensive at all - cheap as most kids buy themselves, they just wanted to supply what they could - and I treated that car like it was worth millions. Still to this day, buying my own cars. Saturdays I'm usually washing it.

That aside- awesome jeep man! I can't sit low either- that's why i'm selling my car.

be nice to his kid, I had a mini truck. I shaved a 98 ranger, droped it fiberglassd the dash with custom center console and flushed in tv. I didn have bags on it (was in the works but then the truck got totaled). I like autos all around, droped or lifted as long as its not stock :D . Nice look'n yj all us Va's should get together sometime and dirty up your clean paint :D
