cj-7 bobcat

found a 1978 cj-7 in the scrap yard today. The jeep had a emblem on the side that said 500,000 Bobcat. it also had decals on it that said SPORT. does anybody know anything about this so called bobcat jeep. Never heard of it myself. anyway they will not sale the jeep to me so it will probably get crushed :mad: :( jeep still has the v8 engine in it and complete drivetrain in it. Would make a great trail rig. not sure about the speedo but it had 05128 on it. may have turned over already but who knows just wish I could buy it :(

In the 1950's they made a jeep called a BC bobcat it was supposed to take the place of the MD's from wwII
but a cj-7 bobcat? never hear of one of thoes..
