On my 04 TJ with 3" suspension lift and 1" BL would the addition of 1" MM lifts eliminate the need for the 1" transfer case drop ?....I'm thinking this would work....need input ....thanks

It would help, and get your oil pan an inch further from the rocks. How did you realign the radiator shroud with the 1" BL?

I used the brackets that came with the kit to re-posistion shroud....my lowered trans case skid took one hell of a beating this last weekend ...I would like to get it back up to frame...without all the expense and hastle of a bellyup type skid...thats why I thought the 1" MM lift might do the job...I realize I'll have to put radiator back to normal with the MM lift....I just wanted to confirm it would work before I ordered parts....and started work on it....

Have you thought about installing an SYE?

Yes , but too much cash and work ,I don't plan on going any higher than the 3" lift I have now...it won't fit in garage if I do...anyway if I had a 4" or higher lift it would be worth the effort , but at just 3" I would think there would be a less expensive route to follow...the vibration without the trans case lowered is pretty slight anyway...I think I'm going to try MM lift....

my t case with my SYE is sitting in the shed
i hope to be putting it on this weekend :D

besides you have to have a 1" body lift, a 1" motor mount lift, and a SYE to run a belly up type skid
you also mignt need rear adjustable upper control arms
so it will get you closer if you ever wanted to go flat undernieth

thats what i plan on doing ;)
