I have a YJ with a doubletube bumper w/ center hoop. How does a winch mount to that. Also, I don't really like the look of the lights in the center hoop and I was wondering if there is a way to mount them like on the WARN front bumper. Lstly, how hard is it to install a winch? Can I do it my self?

The winch doesn't mount to the bumper. You would use a winch plate that bolts to the frame. Becareful though, not all tube bumpers can be used with various winch plates, and vice versa.

As for hooking up a winch, bolt it down, hook it to the positive side of the battery, and hook it to the negative side. Theres usually a ground wire for the solenoid too, but you can take that to any ground.

What do you mean like the Warn bumper, how are the lights mounted?

On the Warn bumper, the lights are mounted on to the left/right of the hoop. _o/_\o_ Sort of like that

I mounted my Milemarker winch on the Milemarker mount. I also have the tube bumper, so I had to raise the winch mount up above the tubes. I used a short piece of galvanized steel pipe. The lights are on a small piece of thick steel, bolted through with the winch mount.
