im getting ready to put a roll cage in my yj and its going down to the floor, but one thing im going to have to change is the e brake. has anyone every put a hand pull instead of the foot one. im thinking about putting it between the door and the seat. any suggestions?

All you have to do is rotate the little handel at the bracket (i get u a pic of mine) it still works fine.(if i had it hooked up ;) )
a hand brake would be more in the way than anything. IMO

You can also bend the little pull rod a little if the bar is in the way, but Dan should be right if the tube is located correctly. Be careful with that tube placement-if it is too far from the dash pad you will interfere with hard doors, if you have them. We have found that 1/4" of clearance to the dash pad is just about perfect.
