I have an 1999 jeep tj with 15+6 factory wheels. A friend gave me some wheels(15 +7) from his 1998 jeep tj. I presume they will fit on my jeep with no clearance problems when turning, ok? I plan on installing a lift kit, either a black diamond 3", or an old man emu 2". Has anyone out there used either of these kits? What do you think of them? What size tires ( BF goodrich M/T ) would I be able to use? This is my first time to modify a jeep so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

hoestly i would go with a rough country lift, alot of us here run them, they are great quality at a great price, plus their customer service cant be beat. one guy on here OHIO YJ was out wheeling and broke a leaf spring that came with the kit , he called them and they replaced it for free www.roughcountry.com (http://www.roughcountry.com)

33 x 10.50 MT's from BFG will fit on your rims if you have a 4 " lift, if you don't want to spend too much, check the Superlift Superide 4" lift kit for 667.99 US$ at Quadratec. The maximum size for the very good OME kit is officially only 31x 10.50. In this size I would prefer the Cooper STT 31 x 10.50 since it is higher than the BFG MT of the same size.

i dont have any lift on my jeep, but i did a thread like this, along with almost every other person on here, and the best feedback i got was rough country, and its about $200 cheeper than most, well for my yj anyways, i think its 529 for a TJ 4''. heres the response i get the most " rough country will give you the most bang for your buck, its durable and will last, your probably going to be going bigger and better later on so the rough country lift would be the best for the price and durability" i see some serious "truck mudders" around here running rough country. by the info that i know, which isnt much, i would say rough country is going to be pretty good.

Go with a 4 inch rough country lift. Dont waste your money on a little two inch lift, you will like it for a couple weeks then you will wish that you went higher. I run a rough country lift on my tj, it is a great lift for a great price. If you go with rough country, you wont be disappointed
