My tail pipe is showing lots of black carbon build up.Its not blowing any smoke, just black dry carbon residue in and around the end of the tail pipe.I have fuel injection on a 93 YJ....where do I make a fuel mixture adjustment at?

Your fuel mixture is determined by the computer.

Some carbon buildup is normal. Does it smell rich, does it turn the plugs black? If it is truely running rich it could be many different things causing the computer to burn rich.

Check/replace your thermostat.
Make sure it's 195 degrees. Your computer is looking for 195 degrees. If the engine is too "cool" you will run rich trying to "warm" up the engine.
I had a Tstat less than 6 months old puke on me. The support housing cracked on the base - Tstat was opening at 165 degrees - confirmed in my oven with a digital thermometer and a new, good Tstat.
Jeep runs much better now - better mileage, no fuel odor.
Something to consider...
