I have a friend (friend #1) who bought a stock 06 Rubicon. Another friend (friend #2) bought an 06 Rubicon that was already lifted with a Full-Traction 4" lift. Friend #2 had the lift removed and sold it to friend #1. As they prepare to install the said lift onto the Rubicon of friend #1, they noticed that the install manual showed a master hardware package that allows them to drop the t-case. However, there are no parts from this package with the lift from friend #2 (confused yet?). Does the t-case on a stock Rubicon need to be drop for a 4" lift? Or, does the Rubi come stock with a SYE?

I had SKyjacker 2.5" springs and Teraflex 1.25" spacers and I didn't need a t-case drop. There was no vibrations at all.

I upgraded to a RE 3.5 and kept the spacers and I then ran into vibration problems.

I would put it on and see if there are any vibration. If there aren't any than don't worry about puting a t-case drop on.
